Update: The formation of San Juan Islands Medical Reserve Corps required consent from San Juan County Department of Emergency Management. Unfortunately, the DEM obstructed the formation but we are contesting this decision! You can help, please contact us for more information.

In the meantime, we are working on PLAN B, which is formation of San Juan Islands Volunteer Medical Corps!

Our goal in forming a medical team is to help neighbors access medical attention in their own neighborhoods in the event of an extended power outage, when first responders are busy with critical infrastructure.
