The San Juan County Emergency Radio Club is established to bring together FRS, GMRS, licensed amateur radio operators and community members who share an interest in radio communications, emergency preparedness, and community service.

Our goals are to:

Engage with the community through public events, demonstrations, and partnerships with local organizations.

Promote radio communications as a valuable skill, hobby, and community resource.

Support community emergency communications (EmComm) during disasters, outages, and public safety events.

Provide education and training for new and experienced radio operators, including licensing classes and technical workshops.

Foster fellowship and inclusivity, welcoming everyone from beginners to seasoned operators.

Establish a County-Wide Drill in 2026 (Last documented County-Wide Drill originating from EOC is believed to have been in 2016, according to our research)
