What is a Disaster Hub?
A Disaster Hub is a designated neighborhood gathering place where residents can meet after a disaster to access first aid, food, water, basic supplies, lost-and-found services, and reliable news updates.
Why are Disaster Hubs important?
In the hours immediately following a disaster, neighbors are often the first source of help. Disaster Hubs provide a known, walkable location where people can share resources, information, and assistance before outside help arrives.
